The number one reason that the team at Goose Island loves attending fashion trade shows is not only to show off our latest collection, but to meet up with many of our customers face-to-face.
This year’s PURE London exhibition was particularly successful for us. It was lovely to see so many of our loyal customers and they all absolutely loved the new collection.
But it was also great to meet new buyers who loved the Goose Island brand and placed orders with us for immediate delivery.
At Goose Island, we always ensure that we book a stand that is highly visible so buyers can spot us easily. Staffing trade shows is also important. We know that fashion buyers prefer to deal with wholesale companies whom they know, like and trust. That’s why we always ensure that our experienced sales team is on hand so that buyers know they have access to the decision makers, giving them confidence in their buying decisions.
In some instances, we will hire a suite close by and arrange meetings with customers so they can view the collection in a relaxed environment away from the busy show. For example, this year we are not attending MODA but have booked a suite in the Hilton Metropole when the show is on and have arranged appointments for customers to place their order there.
In addition to attending trade shows, we also run regular, regional roadshows around the country which is important to a high number of our customers who are unable to attend the major trade shows due to their own business commitments.
